This is why your watercolor painting didn't turn out

I don’t relish showing you my early paintings, but I think it’s important for you to see that I've had to learn and grow along the way, just like you are.

So, let’s look at this painting I did about 8 years ago.

Now, there are a lot of issues that I could point out - and I am sure you can too. But at the time, I couldn't understand why my paintings weren’t working out.

There’s one issue that I think is the most glaring. If I had fixed this one thing, the painting could have turned out much better.

In today’s video, I give you the painting advice that I wish I’d been given when I first started painting watercolor. If you can master this one thing, it could take your paintings to another level.
